Shelley Hesse is a self-taught artist from New Orleans who works primarily in pastel, watercolor, and ink on fine Italian paper. She uses texture and a soft color palate to create images of peacocks with full plumage, vibrant shellfish, and delicate flowers.  Her line of home goods premiered at Anthropologie in March of 2010.

Shelley’s work is so beautiful! I can’t wait to use my Anthro employee discount on some of her dishes.

You can find Shelley’s work at Anthropologie stores nationwide, or on her website.
