Roy Pratt and I are from the same town in Florida and grew up at the same church. Now, he’s a successful model who is traveling the world and doing all sorts of exciting things. After Fashion Week 2011 rapped up, he was kind enough to take the time to catch up and talk about his month here in NYC.

What shows have you walked in this season?

The shows I’ve done this season are Patrik Ervell, Tim Hamilton, Concept Korea, J. Sabatino, and Sergio Davila.

Who is your favorite designer?

My favorite designer this season is Tim Hamilton (the clothes were awesome and he’s just a nice guy).

What is Fashion Week like?

Fashion Week can get pretty crazy (also fun) and it keeps you busy. Whether you’re going to castings, fittings, shows, photo shoots, or just your agency, you have something going on constantly.

What has been your favorite photo shoot and runway show to date?

My favorite photo shoot is a secret and can’t be announced untill the spring time. My favorite runway was Patrik Ervell. The setting was retro cool with pipe walls and awesome techno music in the background.

Favorite place in NYC?

My favorite spot in the city ranges from Union Square to Lincoln Square to Times Square (as overarted as it is). I guess that just makes me a square. I love that something new and exciting happens every day in New York. The places I go, the people I meet, and the oppurtunities I experience are all a huge part of the blessing to work in the city, let alone be here.
