Bottomless coffee. Bacon cheeseburgers. Wine. Sweet Potato fries…

The Grey Dog is my kind of place. Need I say more?

I love hanging out at the Grey Dog in Chelsea before I head over to work at Anthropologie in the Chelsea Market, and after church with friends at the University Place location for dinner.

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-11:30pm, Sun-Sat 7am-11:30pm

Cuisine: American, all the way. Soup, sandwiches, burgers, and a decent selection of beer and wine.

Price: Inexpensive. You can get a great meal for under $15. Bottomless cups of coffee are at an incredibly low price of $2.

Note: Grey Dog Carmine St closed its doors a few weeks ago, and now, the NYC chain opened in a brand new location just over a week ago on 244 Mulberry St. in SoHo.

Locations: 242 W 16th St. (between 7th Ave & 8th Ave), 90 University PL (between 11th St & 12th St), 244 Mulberry St.

Tips: Happy hour is every day from 4-7PM. Beware, Grey Dog is often packed- locals love this place!
