Wait, the infamous salon Bumble and Bumble gives out free haircuts, styles, and color?

It’s true, Bumble & Bumble wants YOU to be a hair model for their licensed network stylists. I found out about this a few years ago, but was too skeptical to take B&B up on their free haircut offer.  Nevertheless, I gathered up enough nerve on Tuesday to hop over to the B&B headquarters in the Meatpacking District for a razor bob. Fortunately, it’s one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received, and now I want to help you learn how you can get a great haircut of your own-for free!

Ruthie Bird’s step-by-step B&B how-to:

Step One: Go to a B&B Model Call. (Sign up here and they’ll get in contact with you)

Step Two: Register for a cut (keep in mind, you must be open to some change. If you register for a razor bob, you’re going to get a razor bob and your hair will rest above your shoulders). When a B&B representative gets in touch with you, confirm an appointment with them

Step Three: Go to the appointment. Make sure to arrive at the B&B headquarters at 413 W. 13th St, #4 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment, and remember: the appointment may take up to two hours, so leave enough room in your schedule to accommodate the cut.

Step Four: Geet yer’ hurs did! B&B University is a continuing education program. All stylists are professionals with at least two years of experience who typically come from several of the top salons across the USA. This is not a basic skills class, but advanced training in the most current cuts, styles, and colors.

Step Five: Taaaa daaaa! Show off and enjoy your new do’!

See? I went from BLAAH to FAB in no time! Thank you LeeAnn and Bumble & Bumble!
