We did it!
May 5th, 2012 was a gloomy Saturday morning. Mom, dad, and I woke up at the crack of dawn to venture uptown from my new apartment in the Financial District through the mist and rain to the stairs outside of 5th Ave. Presbyterian church. Three hours later, a crowd of teary-eyed twenty-somethings dressed in their finest graduation gowns of black and purple stumbled down the church’s stone steps and up the avenue. We stood before the giant fountain at the Plaza Hotel, threw our caps in the air, and a chapter of life closed.
I loved my time in college (well, most of it), but I mostly love these ladies-my two roommates. I am so thankful for them and cannot wait until we are united again!
